SaraBiT Media has added a News Banner Generator to its reporter dashboard, giving publishers a way to create branded images while working on a story.

Reporters can choose an uploaded news frame or use a photo with a Logo Only template. The editor provides a live preview as they change the banner headline, move the photo and adjust text placement.

Photo controls include zoom, brightness, contrast and saturation. Reporters can also set text colour, margins, gradient and shadow.

A Magic button provides another starting point. It samples the uploaded photo in the browser and suggests a colour and layout combination designed to keep the headline readable.

Reporters can try another variation, undo the suggestion or adjust the settings themselves. Magic does not use an AI model.

Once the banner is ready, saving it makes the finished image the story’s featured image and returns the reporter to the news list. The uploaded source photo is used during editing and is not stored separately by the generator.

The feature brings banner creation into the same workflow as story editing, helping reporters prepare a consistent image without switching to a separate design tool.
