Jammu and Kashmir: Security forces achieved a major success in Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam district on Tuesday, when a most-wanted terrorist belonging to the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) was killed in an encounter during an intelligence-based operation.

According to security officials, the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist was killed during an encounter with the Rashtriya Rifles in the higher reaches of Budgam district in central Kashmir.

The Chinar Corps has not officially released the identity of the slain terrorist. However, security officials identified him as Suleman Shah alias ‘Musa’.

Security forces are continuing the search operation in the area.
