Mandi Gobindgarh, A Lecture entitled “Network Security”was organized on Today by Department of Computer Science,Gobindgarh Public College,Alour Khanna.Mr. Manjinder Singh,Assistant Professor of Punjab Institute of Management and Technology, Mandi Gobindgarh was the resource person for the lecture. He discussed the need and importance of awareness about Network Security.He also explained the topics of cryptography,digital signature, encryption.Mr.Singh also demonstrated a number of network tools and websites to identify vulnerabilities with the social media presence and privacy issues.Mr.Singh also recommended career opportunities available in the area of Network Security.Resource Person also encouraged students to learn their rights and remedies available under the preview of Network Security.He also emphasized need of hour to become aware and educated about the security of network.
