Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a ‘Chintan Baithak’ with Union Ministers today, September 23, and tomorrow, September 24. The discussions are expected to cover key issues related to governance, including government reforms, schemes, policies, coordination among ministries and the strategy ahead.

During the meeting, some Union Ministers may make presentations on the work undertaken by their respective ministries and the steps taken for reforms in various sectors. Discussions may also focus on ways to make government policies more effective and ensure that their benefits reach the people more quickly.

Focus on Governance and Implementation

The meeting, being held under the leadership of the Prime Minister, is expected to discuss the progress of government schemes, implementation of policies, time management, coordination among ministries and effective delivery of government services to the people.

Six groups were formed to deliberate on the implementation of schemes within the stipulated timelines and other governance-related issues. Each group comprises eight ministers.

These groups have already held several meetings and discussed the presentations to be made during the Chintan Baithak.
