Indo British School Nabha Celebrates Independence Day with Patriotic Zeal

Nabha, 15 August – Indo British School, Nabha, celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm. The event was graced by Shri Rajinder Pal Anand, former DSP, Advocate, and State President of Punjab Police Family Welfare Association, as the chief guest.Chairman S. Manjeet Inder Singh Bedi, Director Mrs. Kuljit Kaur Bedi, Principal Mrs. Anu Batish, staff members, and thousands of students participated in the celebration. The programme featured patriotic songs, skits, and a colourful march past. Shri Rajinder Pal Anand hoisted the national flag and, in his address, paid tribute to the countless sacrifices of India’s martyrs, highlighting the pivotal role of Punjabis in the freedom struggle.He urged students to safeguard the hard-earned freedom, remain united against divisive forces, and contribute to India’s progress, noting the country’s rise as the world’s third-largest economy. The event concluded with slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and heartfelt thanks to the school management for organising the grand celebration.
