India Crosses 1 Billion Tonne Coal Production Mark Again, Boosting Energy Security

India has once again achieved a major milestone in its energy sector by crossing 1 billion tonne (BT) coal production on March 20, 2026, marking the second consecutive year of reaching this significant benchmark.
