11-Year-Old, Grandparents Among Those Killed in Delhi Stampede

Vijay Saha, Krishna Devi, and their 11-year-old granddaughter Suruchi were at New Delhi Railway Station, waiting to board a train to Prayagraj for the Maha Kumbh Mela. However, before they could embark on their journey, a sudden rush and confusion led to a stampede, claiming their lives along with 15 others on Saturday night.

A total of 18 people lost their lives in this tragic incident. The chaos reportedly erupted due to confusion over train names and platform assignments, leading to panic and a deadly stampede.

The family members of the deceased have now left Delhi for Samastipur, Bihar, to bring their loved ones home for the final rites.
