Khanna Police Organizes Tree Plantation Drive at Kishori lal Jethi Girls school Of Eminence

Khanna, July 31 (Amrish Anand): As part of the ongoing tree plantation campaign aimed at promoting environmental conservation and greenery, Khanna Police organized a special plantation drive at   Kishori lal Jethi Girls school Of Eminence  Khanna.The drive was conducted under the guidance of Special DGP (Community Affairs & Women Affairs) IPS Gurpreet Kaur Deo and the directions of SSP Khanna Dr. Darpan Ahluwalia. On this occasion, SP (Headquarters) Harpinder Kaur Gill actively participated in the event and planted saplings while encouraging people to plant more trees for the protection of the environment.Addressing the gathering, she said that trees are the foundation of human life and every citizen should not only plant trees but also take responsibility for their care and maintenance to ensure a pollution-free environment. She also motivated students to stay connected with nature and fulfill their responsibility towards environmental protection.During the programme, police officials, school management, teachers, and students planted a large number of saplings and pledged to protect the environment. The event also conveyed a strong message about increasing green cover and ensuring a clean and healthy environment for future generations.
