Independence Day and Janmashtami Celebrated at Shakti Public Senior Secondary School

Doraha, August 17 (Amrish Anand) – Shakti Public Senior Secondary School, Doraha, celebrated Independence Day and Janmashtami with great enthusiasm. The program began with Principal Jatinder Sharma hoisting the national flag, followed by the national anthem. Students presented patriotic songs, poems, skits, Bhangra, and Gidha, while Vice Principal Neeraj Sharma highlighted the significance of freedom.As part of the Janmashtami festivities, students staged scenes from Lord Krishna’s life, including Ramlila, Makhan Chori, and Matki Phod. The school was beautifully decorated, and the celebrations concluded with the spirited singing of Vande Mataram. Staff, students, and parents attended in large numbers.
