Congress Party’s Foot March to Fatehgarh Sahib Flagged Off Under the Leadership of Former Minister Kotli and Former MLA Lakha Payal

Doraha, December 24 (Amrish Anand) — As per the annual tradition, a large convoy of the Congress Party set off on a foot march to Fatehgarh Sahib to pay obeisance in memory of the martyrdom of the younger Sahibzadas of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. The foot march was undertaken with devotion and reverence under the leadership of former Minister Tej Prakash Singh Kotli and former MLA Lakhvir Singh Lakha Payal.Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Bant Singh Doburji, who participated in the march, said that Sarvansh Dani Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji sacrificed his entire family for the upliftment and eternal spirit of the Khalsa Panth and accepted the divine will with humility. He added that organizing a foot march to Fatehgarh Sahib every year under the leadership of former Minister Tej Prakash Singh Kotli and former MLA Lakhvir Singh Lakha Payal is a commendable initiative, through which a large number of devotees get the opportunity to pay their respects at the holy shrine.During the foot march, the atmosphere resonated with religious fervour as the participants raised slogans of “Bole So Nihal”, remembering the supreme sacrifices of Sikh history.Apart from the above, those present on the occasion included Chairman Bant Singh Doburji,yadwinder Yandali,Naib Singh, Ram Parkash Pappu (Chairman), Mandeep Mangat, Rajinder Gahir,Vinit Ashat, Gill berkalan, Avtar Singh Tari Ramgarh Sardara (Zila Parishad Member), Kamaljit Singh Shyaad (Former Chairman), Gurvinder Singh Tinu (Zila Parishad Member),Gagandeep Singh Landa, Rupinder Bindu, Ranjit, Deepy Mangat, Baljit Mangat, Surinder Mangat, along with a large number of Congress leaders and workers.
