Oxford Senior School Payal Students Shine at Punjab State Karate Championship

Doraha/Payal, May 28 (Amrish Anand) – The renowned educational institution of the region, Oxford Senior School Payal, has emerged as a leading name in the field of sports. Upholding its legacy, the students of the school delivered an outstanding performance at the 1st Punjab State Muay Thai Championship 2025, organized by the United Muay Thai Association of Punjab on May 25 at Ashok Karate School, Ludhiana. The event was graced by Mr. Mahesh Boble as the chief guest.Under the guidance of Karate Coach Mr. Manoj Chauhan, the Oxford Senior School team participated in the tournament. Due to the excellent performance of its students, the school won the Overall Winner Trophy, securing a total of 25 medals, including 9 Gold, 13 Silver, and 3 Bronze.The students who won gold medals include:Parvaan Dhaliwal, Gurveen Kaur, Sahibpreet Singh, Guntajveer Singh, Praval, Tanish, Gurmeen Kaur, Daler Singh, and Sahijpreet Kaur.Silver medal winners include:Sahibjot Singh Gill, Eknur Singh, Manroop Singh, Krishan Murari, Damanpreet Singh, Jagjot Singh, Hargun Kaur,Japdeep Singh, Mohammad Mustaqeen, Sukhnoor Singh, Tanleen Kaur, Udayveer Singh, and Aadesh Cheema.Bronze medals were won by:Gurkeerat, Yuvika, and Amarjeet Singh.On the team’s return to the school, Mr.Kiranpreet Singh Dhaliwal, Executive President of the school, and Mr.Vijay Kapur, the Principal, congratulated the winning students and their parents. They also blessed the students, encouraging them to continue their winning streak in the future.
