Ludhiana, October 29: Amrish Anand:- Showcasing Ludhiana on the global platform and exploring innovative ideas for sustainable development, Mayor Principal Inderjit Kaur represented the city at the three-day Asia Pacific Cities Summit (APCS) and Mayors’ Forum held in Dubai, UAE, from October 27 to 29.The APCS and Mayors’ Forum is a premier international event that brings together mayors, urban planners, policymakers, and innovators from across the Asia-Pacific region to discuss strategies for collaboration, sustainability, and inclusive urban growth.With participation from over 15,000 delegates representing more than 600 cities worldwide, the summit served as a global forum connecting cities and cultures. Various field trips, workshops, and plenary sessions were organized on key topics such as sustainable development, digital transformation, economic growth, and waste management.Mayor Inderjit Kaur described the summit as a valuable learning experience, noting that it provided a unique opportunity to exchange ideas and best practices with global city leaders focused on sustainable urban development.
