Baisakhi Festival Celebrated with Great Enthusiasm

Doraha, April 14 (Amrish Anand) – At Euro Kids Playway and Dream Berry Convent School, various efforts are made not only to provide education but also to acquaint children with history. In line with this objective, religious, cultural, and historical festivals are celebrated with full fervor and enthusiasm. Similarly, the festival of Baisakhi was celebrated with great excitement among the children.The new academic session at Euro Kids Playway and Dream Berry Convent School was started by remembering and thanking the Almighty. To ensure a successful beginning of the new session, the school organized a recitation of Sri Sukhmani Sahib. Through the sacred recitation, the Granthi Sahib connected the entire congregation present with the name of God.The school's Chairperson Jatinder Sharma, Directors Neeraj Sharma, Suman Sharma, Sonia Sharma, Rajat Sharma, Shubham Sharma, and Principal Surinder Kaur emphasized the importance of Sri Sukhmani Sahib and encouraged everyone to adopt its teachings in their lives.Director Rajat Sharma expressed gratitude to the Almighty, stating that along with hard work and dedication, divine blessings are also essential. He also extended his best wishes to everyone for the beginning of the new session.In conclusion, a prayer was offered for the bright future of the school and the students, followed by the distribution of Deg (holy offering). After devotional hymns, students delivered speeches highlighting the creation of the Khalsa, the tragic Jallianwala Bagh massacre, and the joy of farmers during the harvesting of the rabi crop.Students also performed a dance on the Punjabi song "Aayi Baisakhi Sohniya" and the junior wing children enjoyed themselves thoroughly while dancing to traditional Punjabi folk songs.
