Ludhiana: Two Kids Lose Lives in Tragic Road Accidents

Two children lost their lives in separate road accidents in Ludhiana on Sunday evening, leaving their families devastated. In one incident, a four-year-old boy was crushed to death by an overspeeding car on Kohara Road. The child was standing outside a petrol pump with his mother, waiting for his father, who was refueling their motorcycle.

The tragic mishap occurred around 8 pm when a white car heading toward Machhiwara struck the boy, who had briefly slipped away from his mother’s hold. The driver fled the scene immediately. The child was rushed to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead. The victim, identified as Param from Bhagpur village, was the only child of his parents. Police have registered an FIR against the unidentified driver and are investigating the case.

In another incident, a child lost their life under similar circumstances, highlighting the urgent need for better road safety measures. Both incidents have sparked outrage among locals, who have demanded stricter enforcement of traffic laws to prevent such tragedies.
