Guru Nanak National College’s Sociology Department Organizes Paper Reading Competition

Doraha, February 15 (Amrish Anand) – The Sociology Department of Guru Nanak National College, Doraha, organized a paper reading and PPT presentation competition on the topic "Young Revolutionaries in India" to raise awareness among the youth.Providing this information, College Principal Dr. Sarvjit Kaur Brar stated that the competition, conducted under the leadership of Prof. Nidhi Swaroop, aimed to educate young students about the revolutionary, social, economic, and political activities of youth in history. The objective was to inspire them to contribute positively to society and bring pride to their community.A total of 18 students from M.A. and B.A. classes participated in this activity. In the competition, Gursimar Kaur secured the first position, Jaswinder Singh came second, and Parveen Kaur achieved third place.At the conclusion of the event, Principal Dr.Sarvjit Kaur Brar honored the winning students. The event was hosted by Prof.Kulwinder Kaur.For the successful organization of this activity, the college management committee members and officials, along with Principal Dr. Sarvjit Kaur Brar, congratulated the concerned faculty members and students.
